Our Honest Take on Crypto
We're not crypto maximalists or crypto skeptics. Here's our data-driven perspective:
Bitcoin has been the best-performing asset of the last decade. It's also dropped 50–80% multiple times. If you can stomach that volatility and hold for 5+ years, historical data suggests positive returns. But past performance doesn't guarantee future results.
For most people: Get your financial foundation right first (emergency fund, debt paid off, index fund investing). Then, if you want crypto exposure, limit it to 1–5% of your portfolio in Bitcoin and/or Ethereum only.
What we don't recommend: Altcoins, meme coins, leveraged trading, or putting more than 5% of your net worth in crypto. The vast majority of altcoins go to zero.
